Penned in the weeks after our daughter was born, ‘One + One’ looks at the journey that builds to becoming a father. This is one of the most simple and honest songs I’ve ever written.

The straight talking nature of the lyrics belies the magic of the song, which appears in the final lyric of the song (and album) that completes the journey from an individual to a couple to a family.
