Written over a decade ago during a Melbourne winter, ‘Lonely Road’ tells the story of loneliness. It has since had new resonance and relatability to the audience during these isolating times of COVID.

A chance meeting with Allyson Newman, renowned international film composer, allowed me to revisit ‘Lonely Road’. While in lock down Allyson generously created an original score for the song that features four violin and four cello parts. These parts were performed by Canberra symphony orchestra players Alex Voorhoeve and Timothy Wickham
