The footbridge across Ginninderra Drive connects old Canberra suburb Lyneham with new Canberra suburb, North Lyneham. Only 20 meters in length I crossed this footbridge every night to visit my girlfriend and now wife.

The title plays on this idea of a great rift that was crossed by lovers in the past such as oceans and mountains. We just had to cross a freeway.

This is a coy love song that pulses at the rate of new love.
